Constantly dealing with zwift ride randomly not linking to zwift and not being unable to reconnect without just constantly restarting until it happens

This must be the 4th time i load into a ride realize virtual shifitng is on screen even though i rode 3 times with no issues last night zwift rides connected so i unconnect and then cant reconnect only to then have to just keep closing zwift and starting back up until it randomly decides to let me connect for no freaking reason, ive missed now multiple events i planned a day around because everything seems fine when i start getting ready

i dont know why this constantly keeps happening and is completely ruining the new zwift ride for me. if i just hop on when i have a chance during a busy week no issues, plan a day to doa big event haha jokes on me its not going to work

Shuji at Zwift HQ here. TLDR: unplug the ANT+ dongle from your PC and this will never be a problem again. The Ride controller and trainer signals must all be paired over Bluetooth, or this is one of the symptoms that happens.

Unless your heart rate monitor broadcasts over ANT+ only, that dongle is only creating problems.
If your HRM is ANT-only - you have to be more careful to pair your trainer to the Bluetooth signals only on the Pairing Screen.
