I’d like to know if ZwiftCog can be used with the original 2018 Tacx NeoSmart.
Please let me know if there are any cases where it has been successfully installed.
The Cog should fit the freehub on your trainer but the OG Neo does not support virtual shifting. It’s the Click shifter that won’t work.

The original Tacx Neo does not support virtual shifting, so would not be compatible with Zwift Cog or Zwift Click. As Paul mentioned, the Zwift Cog has no electronics in it. The magic of virtual shifting happens between a trainer’s software and the Click controller talking to the Zwift game.
A list of trainers that do support virtual shifting is on this Support page,. That list will be updated as manufacturers release new firmware for their existing trainer models, or release brand-new hardware to the market.
