Companion App not syncing with Zwift App

Haven’t run into this issue in a couple years, but after last CA update, I couldn’t get the CA app to sync with the game. Only have 1 wifi network to choose from; tried usual tricks of putting phone into airplane mode and then back to normal. Tried restarting phone and the computer that Zwift runs on. Nothing I did got them to sync.
Iphone SE and Mac Mini M4 setup. Any ideas?

If it’s related to the network permissions on the Mac (which I don’t know - maybe not based on your explanation) download the Zwift installer and run it again. No need to remove anything, just run it and after launching the app post-install you’ll be prompted to allow local network access. Must say yes to that. That’s the most common post-Sonoma problem with Companion pairing on Macs.

This is the installer for the Zwift launcher. It installs all the other bits.

I think this will probably be a security setting that has blocked it from connecting. The “allow local network access” prompt Paul mentioned above is the most likely culprit.

I’m running with MacOS 26 developer beta 2 and iOS 26 developer beta and have no problems with the connection, but did have to do the “allow local network connections” thing. For anyone else using MacOS 26, you’ll this warning:

Recommend to set it to always allow. It seems to be a MacOS 26 peculiarity.
