Climbing Portal is boring atm

I love the climbing portal and challenging climbs, but lately the portal is tied up with tiny event climbs and a month long climb on France, same everyday? Why? I know event climb is important to some but keep regular rotation as a 2nd option for those of us that use the portal a lot. Also, breakup theFrance month log boredom slog. Alpe and Ventoux can only fill in so much. Please! I’m using other apps during this time and I don’t want to.

You could always do repeats up Epic KOM in Watopia.

You’ve got four ways up Epic now, both sides of Innsbruck, in addition to Ventoux and Alpe. Achterbahn route if you haven’t done it yet.

PRL half and full if you REALLY like Box Hill repeats…

I know those six mid-size climbs in Zwift are about 1/3-1/2 of the Alpe, but I to my recollection most of the climb portal climbs are shorter than the Alpe too.

Unless you are counting the Mayan climbs to join the upper portion of The Grade also.

Yes, I’m counting Itza-Mayan and the complete Grade approaches as separate climbs. The bottom 1/3 of the climb is a lot different.

Those are all decent climbs if you finish at the radio tower.

I agree. They are different.
I thought about the Mayan climbs after I posted and edited my post to reflect that.
I like the Mayan climbs - I just wish they were a lot easier to get to.

I have climbed well over 3 million feet in elevation so I do anything I can many times. I just love the various portal climbs. I am the minority I see so I will just have to make do.

They just give you a light warm-up ride to reach them, same as for ADZ.

Ventop is the easiest climb to get to and probably the best of them all - but it’s tough.

Oh, I like the availability of variety for sure - but just pointing out that you’ve got 8 permanent climbs of 20min+ (unless you’re really fast) to rotate & combine in addition to the France climb for this month, then I assume they’ll go back to a bit more variety in the climb portal.

I really wish those 4 sides up Epic KOM and radiotower was an actual route
