Over the last few days I’ve been trying to complete the road section of this challenge.
The first ride of 50 odd km was credited, but from the following ride 4 rides totalling another 50km only one has been credited as a road bike ride. The weekly distance is showing the correct distance.
All of the rides were completed on the Tarmac Pro, so they should all count.
For all of the rides I am using an up to date Apple TV box.

Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening and what I can do to fix it?

Do you force close the app on Apple TV after each use? Many users do this to avoid buggy behavior. Also, turning it completely off after each ride can help.

Thanks for the reply and the suggestion. I do close the app and turn off the Apple TV after every ride.

There’s a huge thread on here with a huge number of people reporting similar things throughout the whole month. It hasn’t been resolved. I don’t think it will be resolved. Hopefully next month the challenge and update won’t be so buggy.
