cannot connect Tacx vortex TDG smart

i just bought a tax vortex TDF smart - i don’t have a ANT dongle - do i need one since the firmware has been updated? firmware versions 3.1.13 

zwift has an exclamation mark by the ant+ and bluetooth signs at the top right. Swift doesn’t see the trainer - Bluetooth is on - i can see it using TACX utility

 

what am i missing? - btw I’m using a macbook mid 2010.

Yes you will need an ant+ dongle.
