Can Zwift Ride connect to two different devices?

Hey,

Is it possible to connect the Zwift app to both an iPad and a Garmin Edge 840 at the same time with the Zwift Ride?

So that the Zwift Ride can connect to two different devices (Garmin Edge 840 and iPad) simultaneously…

Thank you and bye

The trainer in a Zwift Ride setup is a Kickr Core, which supports multiple Bluetooth connections, or you can use ANT+. Only one device can control the trainer resistance, but if you want to passively read power/cadence data from the trainer on multiple devices that is possible.

Okay, thank you Paul!

Hi @SC2 welcome to Zwift forums.

For Virtual Shifting to work - your trainer’s Power and Resistance signals and the Ride’s controllers must all be paired via Bluetooth.

Once that’s done, you can try pairing the trainer to your Garmin Edge via ANT+. I do not personally set up dual recording, but it should work as long as you connect the game first via Bluetooth. Good luck!
