It’s been a couple weeks since I’ve been able to give ride-ons from the companion map. My white circle is not white, more of a grey, and tapping the arrow does nothing. Is this a know issue or do I need to reset something?
Try zooming in a bit and it should work.

Does this happen on a specific ride type? Have you tried the other options that are available on the Zwift companion app to see if this is happening for that option in particular? I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the Zcompanion app and then, giving it a try using the Ride On feature in your next ride by following one of the options from this article.
