Can Garmin HRM TRI used for speed info for Zwift running when paired with CABLE? I emailed North Pole Engineering to ask and they seemed to say that the Garmin HRM TRI would work instead of a footpod if connected via CABLE. Has anyone used this setup?

The Garmin Tri HRM CANNOT be used as a running speed source for Zwift, it does not broadcast any kind of pace in real-time.

The only HR monitor that can be used as a speed source for running on Zwift is the Wahoo Tickr Run and Tickr X.

The NPE CABLE can however bridge the Garmin Tri’s HR to Bluetooth.
