Earlier this year (I don’t recall which update), I started having pairing issues between Zwift (on PC) and my Bowflex Treadmill 22 (Speed) + Garmin Epix watch (Heart Rate & Cadence).
When I pair my devices (ie: they auto-populate) on the main Zwift screen and the run starts, my avatar will run for 10 seconds or so at speed, then stop (0 mph), then jump forward (at speed), then stop (0 mph) again, etc…
To get everything working properly, I have to skip the pairing screen, start a run, go into the menus and unpair Speed, Heart Rate, and Cadence, then pair Speed (first), Heart Rate (second), and Cadence (third). I have to ensure speed is paired for several seconds before I attempt to pair HR and Cadence or it will have issues again.
So that problem is out of the way using my workaround… but once the run starts, I notice that Cadence is ~half what it should be. Occasionally it will briefly show the correct cadence, but most of the run it will show as half cadence.
Here’s an image of a run from today to illustrate the problem.
Does anyone else have these issues?
