I am using Xert to generate custom workouts. They get posted to a folder inside Custom Workouts in Zwift called Xert.
The bug I want to log is that these workouts cannot be deleted - meaning when you select on them they do not have the delete button option at all. In comparison when I create my own custom created workout from inside Zwift app the Delete button is present and they can be deleted.
There are similar bugs reported similar to this going back a number of years but there does not appear to be a proper fix for it. The folder is getting full up pretty quickly with new workouts being added every day.
Screen shot of Xert workout with delete option missing and below that a custom workout where the delete button is present.
This happpens on Windows 11 on laptop and ipad / i-os and running latest (as of 10-1-25) version of Zwift app.
An upadate on this issue. I logged in to Zwift today and went to my Xert folder and notice that half the workouts that were there a few days ago have now gone. It seems thatr after a period of time workouts may automatically delete themselves. I will track this and post what I see so others stumbling onto this issue in the future have the information. This would be a perfectly acceptable user experience (albeit not quite as good as having the ability to delete with a button) and would not warrant a bug fix.
Final update on this bug - I logged in today and the custom folder with all Xert workouts has been deleted. So it seems the user experiece here is that workouts cannot be user-deleted from the folder but will either a) get ridden and then disappear or b) just disappear along with the folder if not ridden in a certain period of time.
This is OK as far as I am concerned but it would be better if they could be deleted.
User documentation to explain the experience would save people like me logging questions / bugs.
Issue closed as far as I am concerned.
