That’s now working.
I’d advise everyone to keep a secoind copy of the file under a different name (e.g. oldmusic.wem). That way if you reinstall Zwift it won’t overwrite your only copy of it with the “real” 899869566.wem.

I can’t imagine that it would be tat hard for zwift to give the users choices. 
Go into settings, go into audio, get the choice between a couple different audio packages, with an option to kill the music as well. I think EA Sports and similar has done something like this for at least 15-20 years now?
I have been nostalgic for this original music for a while. I’d finally just turned off the new startup music, but today I thought I’d have a look and potentially ask here for the option and in the process found this thread.
I swapped back and it works. This is great and makes joining Zwift just that little bit better.
How do I download the .wem file? it downloads as a .wav, so doesn’t work. Thanks
