There’s something going on! As we know, Zwift cannot afford a secondary server for testing and QA , thus they’re tampering with the productive environment - see PD… you’ve been a guinea pig…
A few minutes ago, my workout has been buggy as usual, including the 5W steps in ramps.
Friend of mine just tested it a bit. It seems to be affected by 3rd Party supplier. I used i.icu to get the workout into zwift. Can anyone of u confirm this as well?
I had a workout pushed from Xert to Zwift on Friday and the wattage targets were not rounded, haven’t tried it again yet though - so not sure if it was just a one off. Some of the ramp parts were also increasing in 1 watt each time
This is all a bit strange and the implication seems to be that the issue is with the workout builder that Zwift provides, and that it’s their builder software that is embedding rounded target values in the actual zwo files. So, there’s really no way to ‘stop the rounding’ without rebuilding any and all existing workout files?
My intervals.icu workout had odd number targets for intervals, but the ramp increase was either 3 or 4 watts every 15 seconds for my specific ramp interval over a single long continuous ramp.
I guess we need shooj to confirm if it’s just for the imported workouts (similar to before), or if it’s changed across the board. The initial comment just mentions TR workouts…
“Zwift has enabled specific power targets for workouts pulled from TrainerRoad, so you can stick directly to the plan. No more 5 watt rounding!”
FWIW, I tried this tool as well, but the results came in 5w rounded. And a 30 second ramp from 85 to 170w, started at 85w, ran for 15 seconds, then went to 130w for the balance 15 seconds (of course never getting to 170w)

So no luck there. Interesting mention on TR workouts. It really does sound like this fix has to rely on the workout building software, and not the game itself.
Opening a test workout in Notepad, this seems like the only code there is. These percent values seem correct to yield the odd number of watts I entered to yield a target that wasn’t rounded to 5 (eg. 108 vs 112 watts). However, both instance in game show 110w. I’m curious what opening a new TR workout file in Notepad shows instead?
Using TrainerRoad sync today, no rounding on watts. However, list of upcoming intervals in companion app was rounded (though watts for current interval was not rounded). Companion app v 3.66.0, last updated 24 Jan so I guess next update will catch it.
I did my first one yesterday, and the watts were not rounded to the nearest 5. (I didn’t open ZC, so I’m not sure if it did the rounding there, as some have said.) I am running Zwift on an iPad, though, so I’m guessing I can’t actually get a .zwo file. (I don’t have Zwift installed on any PC or Mac.)
