Zero issue connecting and I choose to calibrate it within Zwift and is very close to my treadmill reported speed. But if you want to use the advanced features of Stryd, just run by power and you can better compare indoor and outdoor runs.
I am new to Zwift. What footpod is compatible with the iPad and iPhone?
The stryd is by far and away the best choice. If it’s specifically a footpod you want then little point considering anything else.
I have the garmin sq but it isn’t Zwift compatible. And don’t really want to go buy another watch. Is there any other ways to use zwift
Here i talk about options.
Zwift runpod sucks. I bought a stryd some time ago, still using it. It’s very close to GPS distance even when switching between running and racewalking. Zwiftpod was nowhere near GPS when calibrated on running or on racewalking but when switching techniques during one session, it went completely off.
FYI, I run with 2 watches, always outside, one on GPS for real run and one for Zwift with the Garmin virtual run activity. Both activities always end up only meters from each other.
In two words, go stryd.
