I have been cycling Coast to Coast both at the Tour of Watopia and on my own, but I still don’t get the badge. When I explore the routes of Watopia, it is still marked as uncompleted. Why? Is this a bug or what?
It has worked for me, your profile on the companion is set to private so I can’t see your activities to check and see what went wrong.
Is there a difference between the completed routes you see in Companion, and what you see in the game when looking at your badges or on the Routes page in the game?
I was running another uncompleted route today and that worked well, I earned that badge.
No, as far as I can see, there is no difference between in the game and in Companion. The Coast to Coast is uncompleted in both.
When you check your past activities in Companion or in your feed on my.zwift.com, are those rides there? If so I would contact support and ask for the badge if you want it.
Yes, I can see my activities both in Companion and on zwift com. That would be great if I could get the badge, but it is very strange why I don’t get it. Never happend before and maybe only me? I also hope that it won’t happen to others routes too, but I got a new badge today for another route so maybe it is just this one.
Thanks for your help!
Interesting, I tried to ride it yesterday and somehow got off course towards the end. I did not make the turn onto the new Jarvis area. I wasn’t using the companion app at the time and I don’t think I did anything with my appletv remote, or at least didn’t realize I did. Was going to try again today to see what happens.
Were you using any kind of steering device?
Great news today, at least for me . I did Coast to Coast again today, for the third time, and now I got the badge. I don’t now why I got it today, I haven’t change anything and I can’t see that there any new version either, so it is little bit strange that it suddenly works. But anyway, I got the badge and I can keep exploring the routes
BTW, I need to make a comment of these forums. I got little bit confused when I got the reply from @Paul_Southworth that he could contact the support and ask for the badge for me. Not sure if he is working for Zwift support or not, but I got the feeling that he is not and that makes me more confused. Isn’t these forums a way to contact Zwift support? I thought that I would get an answer from Zwift support in these forums and they could help me to find out why I didn’t got the badge. It is good to get replies and help from other Zwift users, but there are occasions that you really need help from Zwift support, but how to get that?
I actually made a request of a new feature in the feature forum and I made it in this spring in March. I can see that it has been viewed but no feedback what so ever, zero (0) replies. At least I thought that Zwift support should reply in some way, either say it is bad or a good idea or maybe say that they will check it or anything, but no response at all. I must say that I am disappointed. What are these forums used for if you don’t get any feedback from Zwift support at all?
Hi Björn, sorry for the confusion. I was suggesting that you should contact support. Possible misunderstanding due to the language I used. I am not on staff at Zwift, though I do answer support questions for them through the ambassador program.
The forum is a place for community support, and Zwift staff read most of the topics but there’s no guarantee of a reply from them. If others in the community were interested in your feature suggestion there would have been a discussion about it.
Hi Paul, no problem, I misunderstood you. But that is my point, how should I contact Zwift support if they don’t care about these topics in these forums? If I should go another way to contact Zwift support then I don’t see the benefit of these forums, except feedback from other users.
Regarding feature requests, posting on the forum sometimes results in a reaction by Zwift, but not always. It does help if there is a discussion and a lot of support for the idea. I showed up here knowing nothing and made a bunch of suggestions that nobody cared about or had already been mentioned. But good ideas that are consistent with their vision for the game that receive a lot of support do sometimes get implemented. Overall the level of influence we have is small but not zero. Contacting support about missing badges that you are entitled to is different since they owe you that.
For me it sounds like a strange way to handle topics. I have been working for a large software company and for us the customer was always first. We had a first line support that always replied to all topics or tickets, no matter if customer was big or small. It is good that have a discussion about a new feature among users to see if it is a good idea or not, but should that be the only way to be able to get a new feature implemented? Is the Zwift team only working on features with the most votes? To me it sounds strange, Even more strange if it is about a bugs. Will they only fix bugs with the most votes?
Anyway, not sure if I will write anymore bugs or feature request. And thank you Paul for your kindness to reply
.
