Back on Zwift and connecting trouble

I reinstalled Zwift after some time. Windows 11pro is running on my new computer. The graphics card drivers are up to date, as are the drivers for my Tacx Neo. I wanted to take my first test ride today. I was kicked out of Zwift twice, once after 5 minutes and the second time after 25 minutes. The firewall is not blocking Zwift. What else can I do to prevent Zwift from crashing all the time?

is it an AMD?

Hi, @, welcome to Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.

I completely get how frustrating it can be when your Zwift ride is disrupted by connection or crash issues especially when you want to get back on track.

I’ve reviewed the latest version of the game and launcher. However, I peaked at your server log and noticed connectivity alerts on December 26, 2022. Aside from that the TCP was disconnected.

Your router’s firewall should permit all incoming and outgoing TCP traffic on remote ports 443, 3023, and 3025, as well as all incoming and outgoing UDP traffic on remote ports 3022 and 3024. For troubleshooting tips, please consult your Internet Service Provider.

I would recommend following all the steps outlined in the breakdown list here: Issues With Zwift Crashing

  • A VPN or Proxy server: This is most likely what’s blocking you from connecting, as Zwift needs to connect directly to our servers. Try disabling it before launching Zwift.

I noticed you’re using an Intel(R) Iris(R) Xe Graphics, try to manually reinstall the driver from
Intel® Arc™ & Iris® Xe Graphics - Windows*

Lastly, you can try another network and admin user too.

No, it*s an intel core i5.

Which integrated graphics driver you use depends on which generation of the i5 you have. The one Francisco suggested is for 11th gen or later.

Many thanks for the information. I have an I5 12th generation. I will test this with the newly installed drivers.

Small update. I have reinstalled the graphics drivers. I started Zwift and went on a track without driving. After about 15-20 minutes it crashed. Then I drove for another 25 minutes and nothing happened. I am currently on a track again without driving. Let’s see what happens.

Unfortunately, a new installation was not successful. I now have version 32.0.101.6325 and did 2 tests today, which were unfortunately not successful. Zwift crashed after about 5 minutes each time :frowning:

What type of application do I have to specify for a manual port release for the TCP and UDP protocol? I can only create a port share for the UDP protocol for an MS Remote Desktop. For a HTTP or HTTPS server only TCP protocol works
