Avatar won’t move - wahoo kickr & iOS

Hi. I’ve reviewed several Posts and can’t find one with this solution. I had paused my subscription this past summer for the first time and when I restarted it 2 months ago my avatar won’t move. Now I fear I have Multiple subscriptions. I don’t want to wipe everything and start over for fear of losing 3 years of history. Haven’t used Zwift yet this fall and today is another #fail. Super frustrating.
Wahoo kickr trainer
iOS for Zwift.
All devices recognized.
All seems fine but avatar just sits on roadside.

I think when I reactivated my subscription I did it via the site directly but the original subscription was done thru Apple Pay/App Store?
How do I rectify?

If you pedal the bike on the pairing screen, do you see any Watts?

Hi. No. Nothing. All zeros. Also when I just got back on the bike to check on your question the app required that I choose restore purchase to even get to my user name when I already know I have a subscription. Last night Apple notified me that my next payment was November 17th. Thanks for your help :upside_down_face:

Paying via Apple is the #1 reported cause of renewal problems. Always better to pay on the Zwift website if that’s an option.

You should contact support to sort out the payment issues.

As for the other problem, I would test it in the Wahoo app to ensure that it’s not a trainer problem. There is also a fresh firmware update available for your trainer unless it’s getting automatic updates.

Thank you Paul. Will do and report back

My avatar has suddenly stoped moving, I am using a MacBook Pro and a iPad. I have not had any issues until couple of days ago. I have reloaded all Zwift programs on all my machines, I have shut down every blue tooth item anywhere near my kicker. The kicker is only a month old, and when I do log on I get cadence, and watts. The avatar picks up its feet, and just sits there. When I connect I get a strong blue tooth signal, and my virtual shifters connect and will shift gears. The only thing that won’t work is the avatar. I have followed all of the tech help suggestion form Zwift, but nothing suggested has worked. Any ideas.

Do you have play controllers? Sounds like your brakes are stuck on. Try sliding the brake settings to off in the settings menu while in game.

Hey @michael_magee_Team_G

Welcome to our Zwift forums! I’m Alejandra from Zwift.

I’m sorry to hear that your avatar isn’t moving despite all the steps you’ve taken. Thank you for letting us know.

I took a quick look at your account and found some tips that might help. I see that you’ve manually isolated any additional devices that could be paired with your trainer and the game. However, I’ve noticed some BLE disconnections on your account. Please check this article to make sure that, despite the device you’ve isolated, there aren’t any others that could be affecting you.

I saw that you’re using Zwift Play. Could you test and remove it to prevent this from being the cause of the issue? If, after removing it, you discover that this is the cause, please contact us and we’ll help you in more detail.

Thanks for trying. Keep us updated!

I did disconnect the Zwift Play today, and that seems to have addressed the problem. I did ride for a bit prior, and it appears that the brakes won’t turn off. I have turned them off in the game settings, but they still seem to be activating.. I a charging them to 100% to ee if that is a issue, but I would appreciate any information you have for this bug/issue.
