I’m unsubscribing from Zwift due to this - but thanks for the update! How often are your releases?

Hey @shooj

Zwift provides no way to revert the update or patch, which makes things harder for users to use.

I have un-subscribed from Zwift platform because of this issue, Since this integration can break any time and I don’t want to waste my training time and days just scouring forums and troubleshooting issues.

I appreciate your update, however I would ask Zwift to provide roll back procedures in the event of bug or serious issue ( like this ! ), where 100s or 1000s users just can’t connect/race/workout any longer.

I hope Zwift takes this feedback seriously , it would make things better for everyone.

This is a thread about the Apple watch functionality. Your post is better asked elsewhere.

It is terribly disappointing that something that worked is now totally rooted. Hopefully a gigantic step backwards in development will means improved functionality soon.

Same issues as described above; ATV, iPhone & Companion app. Watch shows “selected” but it does not “connected” to Zwift. Incredibly disappointing as this has worked (albeit with frustration time to time) for almost 4 years. Now an “improvement” update totally KO’s a huge number of users ability to use an extremely common device (Apple Watch) - this should be a much higher priority than the “niceties” that make some user’s experiences more enjoyable. How about fixing an essential health, training & safety data issue (monitoring and recording HR data) and fix this once and for all!

Worked for me that way yesterday also. Still, it’s a major failure and problem that Zwift did to its users. I hope it’s not on purpose and it’s a simple thing they forgot because with the annual paiement now, we signed for the year with the idea that we were not loosing connectivity with our watches.

Id just like to add my voice to the choir here. My unsupported apple watch has worked fine for years. With the recent update i can do a ride and look at my wrist at my “In Ride” hr but it wont pair to the zwift game. Kind of frustraiting to think im going to have to buy another heart rate monitor to wait for the one i already have, that was working fine, to be functional again.

Add me to the list of unhappy people with this recent break in functionality. It was working pretty reliably up until last week (two updates ago now). Really wish today’s update would have restored the functionality.

Thanks Shuji for the update. Hope it’s sooner rather than later, because it’s quite inconvenient, but it might help encourage me to get outside more. We reached +7 degrees outside today! Hello ice everywhere though…

So glad it’s not just me.
Spent ages trying to get it to work last Sunday and as an IT tech I tried everything I could and couldn’t understand why it would suddenly stop working!
Looking forward to the fix, until then I’ll have to use my wahoo HRM. For something like this there should be an immediate roll back rather than waiting 2 weeks.

Thanks for responding. Apple Watch is the best selling watch in the world, and we expect it to work

I have the same issue as everyone else. Very frustrated but glad that others have been posting on the topic. I had wasted quite a bit of time earlier trying to get the watch to pair. I just want it to work it’s an important component of my rides.
