I have read many topics already but cannot see the issue I am having so have started this one.

I have just purchased a Zwift Ride and Apple TV to play through my TV.

I have downloaded the Zwift Companion app and all my Apple Health permissions are set to allow sharing with Zwift.

I am for the life of me unable to get my Apple Watch to monitor my heart rate on Zwift!!

Is there a way to do this?

If not will I have problems even if I purchase a separate heart rate monitor due to the limit of 3 Bluetooth connections to Apple TV (the Apple TV remote, Wahoo smart trainer and Zwift Controller are the 3 connections).

You’ll have to use the Companion app for pairing. That’s life with Apple TV.

The Apple Watch is a really bad choice of HRM with Zwift but you can probably get it working if you use the Heartcast app to make it more like a normal HRM. Or get a separate HRM, which will be more reliable but won’t change anything about the Apple TV pairing limitation. It’s the same whether you use one or the other.
