Any update for fix? Just started Zwift again for the winter and noticed this issue.
same issue here too!
Same here.
same for me
still an issue in 1.50. WTF is going on Zwift in addressing the issue? @Rowdy
I’ve bumped this again at HQ. The only workaround right now is to return to the pairing screen after returning to Zwift. Your devices should reconnect automatically. Please let me know if that’s not happening for you or there are any other aspects to this issue that are occurring.
The fact is, this has been listed as an issue for 2 months now, and we’ve seen little “progress” in fixing something it appears Zwift themselves caused in one of the updates. Do we have to wait for months again like other issues I;ve raised for this to be fixed?
Updated to Zwift 1.51 on Apple TV and now I can switch to other apps (e.g. podcasts) or use Siri without my Bluetooth trainer connection dropping in Zwift. Many thanks for fixing this bug!
Fixed for me as well
Seems to be and working with 1.51
OK, there appears to be an issue still, but not the same as dropping all BT connections. I’ve observed randomly pushing the Siri button will freeze zwift for a second then continue. This doesn;t happen every time, but more often than not now
Experiencing the same. Certainly not like it originally was when Siri didn’t interfere with Zwift in the slightest. Now the screen freezes for a couple of seconds
@Rowdy Can you raise this again with HQ? Seems still issue perhaps?
Thanks for the tag @Mark_Hulskamp , to confirm, it sounds like the bluetooth disconnections are not occurring, but the Zwift app is freezing/going unresponsive temporarily after pressing the Siri button on the Apple TV remote. Do I have this right?
Thats correct
