Anyone Using HRM Pro Plus for Zwift Running?

Hi, I’m considering buying an HRM Pro Plus to use with Zwift while running on a treadmill. I see that it now supports cadence and other metrics that sync with Zwift, but I haven’t found any in-depth reviews on how reliable it actually is. There are some posts about it, but they don’t go into much detail about its performance.

I’d love to know if it works well for Zwift Running or if there are any issues. Anyone here with hands-on experience who can share their thoughts?

I took a chance and bought the Garmin HRM Pro Plus and tested it with Zwift while running on a treadmill. My initial impression is that it works better than the Zwift Run Pod and is even more accurate. It was also much easier to sync and connect to the app.

Just some info…

I was trying to clear all my badges and just left with 1,000mile achievement badge, short by about 100mile, and then my treadmill failure. So my easiest option, as I not have commercial gym access, was to take Zwift on the road with me.

So instead of Zwift on iPad with Zwift Run Pods, I used Zwift on my Android mobile and Run Pods on the road. After a couple short runs like this, I started to use my new Garmin HRH Pro-Plus and no more Run Pods.

This turns out to be much more accurate solution. I did comparison of the Zwift results to my Garmin Forerunner 955 using GPS (all band) linked to my Garmin HRH Pro-Plus. They were the same! Never had anything that close using Run Pods.

I looked into it and Garmin actually calibrates the HRH Pro-Plus stride info to the GSP info so it quite accurate. I will never use the Run Pods again! Pairing so easy and always calibrated to my last road run. I highly recommend!
