I do not use the ZCA, so every comment is unseen. Strava is 100 times better.
One, listen to Zwifter suggestions more, especially before changes are made.
Two, change pack dynamics (I prefer greater draft but slower pack speeds)
Three, Get rid of enhancement bike levels, aero socks, and power-ups in races.
Fourth, do not allow anyone on forums to disagree with me.

(actually, I would like a ‘thumbs down’ vote that only the poster could see.)
- Buy rouvy and use it instead of climb portaL.
- Better gfx for those who are able to display it
- Weather conditions and impact on all worlds
more and greater worlds.
Every one of those is an option for event organizers (though they would have to assign one type of socks to all riders)
Speaking of those aero socks. Well the electric ones. I really would have thought that Zwift would not make the same mistake twice, but …
Yesterday we had a ladder race with ghost powerups and guess what we saw riding up the road when the rider himself was invisible. Exactly we saw the sparkling electric socks and wheels up the road.
Just like with the firesocks …
Let me add to my list:
Ride Stats available during workouts
Aero socks are available in every race.
Neutral bikes does not change aero socks. (But, you can check with Zwift.)
Neutral bikes is not the same as all bikes on level 1. (check with Zwifterbikes for exact numbers)
Aero socks are only available if you aren’t forced to wear something else, like in the MAAP rides. Neutral bikes is also an option now - I have used it.
Neutral bikes has been available for a long time. Bike levels are relatively new.
You would have to ask someone at Zwift about aero socks not working on rides.
I have not heard of any races that have banned/disallowed aero socks.
I don’t think Rouvy wants to sell (they make a profit).
But, it would be a nice amalgamation.
Bike upgrades can be disabled as well. That is a separate option from neutral bikes.
I also have not heard of any organizers disabling aero socks but they can ask to have assigned socks. Most organizers don’t disable powerups either, but they can do it if they want to. If they don’t, then maybe they simply don’t agree with your preferences. For the races I am operating, I do have powerups, but currently only draft.
I loved when it happened; I typically tried to go full gas with Firesocks the few times I was able to get a Ghost powerup and go away (a few seconds) from the pack 8o)))))) Totally “Back from the Future” theme. But yes, I understand that it was not terrific in term of strategy! BTW I don’t find any races with this powerup nowadays.
lol, I love the ghost of course.
By sprinter, for sprinters.
So you could schedule a race banning aero and fire and confetti socks and maybe Tron bikes too.
Can we do all the New York glass roads?
And every banner is a ghost power up!
Heaven.
I think you’re describing something most people do not want, so it becomes difficult to get a sufficient field. With a lot of promotion and support from a big club, it could certainly be done once. As a weekly type of event it would probably get cut from the schedule for lack of interest. It’s important to differentiate between what is possible or not possible based on features, and what will be popular or unpopular based on majority preferences.
I didn’t create the aero socks.
Getting built-in dual recording would be nice. Since the L/R balance only really works with power pedals (or crank PMs) and trainer should be set as primary, that change might be enough to make me buy a pair. It would help a lot with the pointy end of the serious racer scene as well. I heard rumors of this being worked on a long time ago but nothing since so ![]()
I wish Zwift would stop pretending like they care about community racing (or racing in general, for the most part).
I kinda dont think there is a market for that. Doubt Zwift will force everyone to spend another 300 to 400 euro’s for common races. And the elite whom might like this are just way too few numbers to make it worth it to spend money and time implementing it.
and also the amount of work they would get into their hands when everyone starts to complain that either their Zwift Ride or the new powermeters Zwift made them buy arent acurate.
I don’t expect or want ZHQ to force mandatory dual recording on people, just have it optional for users, or let independent organizers require it for the instances they already do. And let the L/R balance field be useful for people using their trainer as a primary power source.
