It looks like the FTP Test workouts in the app have changed so that the shorter standard FTP test is now the standard FTP test and the standard FTP test is gone.
If you google “Zwift FTP tests” Zwift insider has an article explaining the previous test protocols.
Now the only 20min test in the “FTP Tests” folder is the 45 min workout. For some reason the old test did show in the companion app for me and I was able to add it to my list and then select it from the “For you” panel in Zwift. But I’m not sure how reliable that workaround is long term.
Is this a bug or is this the new standard FTP test protocol in Zwift has changed?

Yes, with the 1.67 release, what was before the FTP Test (shorter) now became the FTP Test (standard). The other remaining FTP tests that were removed were redundant and confusing to some.
Also in the companion app the collection should now appear the same as in the game.
Ok, thanks David! I appreciate the response and I see it in the change log now.
As a piece of feedback, it might have been nice to have kept the old one somewhere else or announced this change with some lead in or provide a workaround for people who still want that workout for at least the next while; primarily because for a key session like the FTP test many coaches and athletes don’t want to be changing protocol mid-season This one is particularly kind of tricky because recreating it in training peaks or the zwift workout builder doesn’t give you exactly the same behaviour as the FTP test which has a special identifier in the XML for the 20min block…
At any rate I appreciate knowing it is not a bug and can agree with the intention; there was a lot of FTP tests and they do benefit from simplification.
It’s still possible to access the old workouts that were removed from the FTP Tests collection in the All Workouts page. They are sorted alphabetically so you should be able to find them easily.
Ahhh excellent! You are right, thank you. This is a great workaround until we get to the end of the season. Will probably then switch to the new ‘standard’ one after the end of season break. Appreciate the pointer.
