Zwift Spinback [December 2025]

It’s time to Spinback and rewind your year on Zwift! Get ready to relive every pedal stroke, climb, and Ride On. Zwift Spinback takes you on a journey through your past year on Zwift, rewinding your rides to reveal the moments that made you who you are today. Spinback captures the energy, effort, and excitement of every ride. See how far you’ve come and celebrate the journey that’s uniquely yours.

Spinback is available starting today December 4, 2025 until 11:59 pm on January 5, 2026. This year, Zwift Spinback will only be available on Zwift Companion. In order to view your Spinback video, make sure that you have downloaded the latest version of Zwift Companion. To learn more about Zwift Companion, click here.

The Zwift Spinback video will be available as an in-app pop-up message in Zwift Companion and you will have the option to download your video to share with friends! Don’t worry, if you accidentally ‘x’ out of the message, it will pop-up every time you open Zwift Companion.

Please note, if you click the “Don’t Remind me Again” button, the video will be removed from Zwift Companion and we will not be able to resend it.

I’ve got the email, and updated the app, but I’m not getting any notification of Spin back in the app, I’m on Android v3.76.4, what do I need to do to see this?

Hey @Shane_O_Connor - Can you try re-opening the app? Sometimes it takes a second to load

I’ve tried that multiple times, it’s not showing up, is this a phased roll out perhaps? I just assumed if I’m getting the email that it should be available already

I tried restarting the app updating the app Etc and I still don’t see the pop-up. I saw it once I hit the download button and there was no download. It’s not popping up.

It’s great, except it’s not entirely accurate. I know I spent more than 245 minutes with Miguel this year when I was doing the 12 bike upgrades to unlock all the Halo bikes - that minute count total would be low overall for rides with Miguel, Maria, or Coco. That may have been 245 minutes in a single ride, but it was way more than that cumulative.

I have downloaded the ZCA update. When I click on the email link, it takes me to ZCA on the Apple Store. I click open but no spin back to be seen yet.

Dont seem to be able to upload videos on this, and.i can’t paste links to show the issue in ZCA

Just got my Spinback. Im not sure, if Zwift really knows about their tracks. My favourite track was Road to Sky and its described as: Flat and Fast

Was I riding the wrong track all the time?

You can convert the video to GIF if it is short enough. I have done that here before.

same problem here. i got the email, said “hey, cool!” opened my Android v3.76.4 companion app and….. nothing. closed it, opened it, several times. nothing.

i’ll try again later, and it’ll probably eventually work, but maybe hold off on the email until it’s more than time in the future?

I saw the spinback did not touch the button to not display it and not its completely vanished.

What a terrible implementation. Zwift seriously you can do better than this.

Also why release this when you have 1 full month of a year left? This should really be released at the end of the year or really early January. Need to consider we have the festive 500 at the end of the year so a lot of riding is still to be had this year.

Will this update through the end of the year? If so I’d like to be able to see it on or after Dec 31 but I also don’t want to have to close a popup every time I open Companion for the next 4 weeks.

Okay, it’s not just me alone then. I’ll go have my breakfast now.

I clicked on “Download” and it was NOT downloaded! I clicked on don’t remind me again because I thought it was properly downloaded :confused: I want the video so I can share it.

When I clicked the Download button and chose Save Video on iOS, it ended up in the Photos app.

For those not seeing the Spinback using the latest (v 3.76.4) of the Zwift Companion app - try logging out of Companion and log back in.

Launching Companion app directly didn’t prompt Spinback.

Using link from Zwift email regarding Spinback launched the app and then prompted me to review my Spinback.

Tried this, full app storage clear, full reinstall with no success. Also tried accessing from the link in email, also no joy.
