I did the ZA Run baseline run today. Everything was fine but when the activity uploaded to Strava it included the time I spent in the starting pen in the elapsed time. So my average pace shows as 17:54 min/mi instead of 8:20.
Unfortunately that is standard for activities exported to Strava. The time in the companion app shows your moving time only (ignores time spent in the pens). Whereas IIRC, the fit file exported to Strava and the way they read it is for your activity time (total time in a virtual world).
Edit: just checked a Strava activity for a group ride I did and it matches the actual time spent riding as reported in companion. Not sure what to say, might be because this was an event versus group ride. Maybe someone else can provide more info.
