That’s right. It’s when the Cog comes on a Kickr Core that you get a black V1 at the moment.
It doesn’t make sense, considering that by all accounts the bundle Ride+Kickr all ships in multiple cartons anyway, but somehow the Kickrs that are assigned to the Ride bundles all seem to have the v1 Cog.
There is seemingly no advantage whatsover in purchasing option 1, vs purchasing options 2+3 ? Options 2&3 combined costs the same but you’ll get 1 additonal v2 Cog, plus a set of Play controllers (which may not be of any use, but you could sell them I suppose). The Ride+Kickr bundle really should offer a discount.
But in the photos, they’re all orange anyway, so that means they’re all v2, right?
No… in #1 there’s no orange in the rear that I can see.
Yes, I bought #1, the Zwift Ride with Kickr Core, and it does have the orange one installed.
That’s good to hear! Maybe Zwift finally ran out of v1 Cogs.
so #2 has die v2 cog installed? because my friend wants to buy the Kickr core when its back in Stock
I can’t promise you that Zwift couldn’t substitute the Cog v1, because their Shop listing copy doesn’t specify one way or the other, but the product photography shows the orange v2 cog – so you should get a v2.
Also, just in case, I’m only referencing what I see on the US-based website. I don’t know if any other regional/country websites show or list these products differently, or have different product availability.
Thank you for the response. Yes, it’s the same in the EU shop—there’s no description of which Cog is included, but the photo shows the orange v2.
It’s now out of stock, I wanted to order one today.
