After watching GPLama on garmins update with virtual shifting. It looks as though the riser for the zwift ride isn’t tall enough for the Tacx Neo 2t. Will Zwift be releasing a riser to be compatible with the Tacx Neo 2t? strong text
if you buy the Zwift ride frame only, not in a bundle with a trainer, then you get 3 different size feet. I think one of those should work. Contact support if you have questions on purchasing the feet for an existing Zwift ride frame.
I do have the 3 different sizes. I figured he’d have all them too.
Hi @Kru
Shuji at Zwift HQ here. Glad to hear you’ve kept all three riser feet for the Zwift Ride.
For anyone reading along - if you purchased your Zwift Ride bundled with the Wahoo KICKR Core - it would have come with one riser foot - the one suited for the KICKR Core. If you also own a compatible Garmin Tacx trainer and wish to use it with the Zwift Ride frame - please contact Zwift Support to get the set of three riser feet.
Note: the Tacx Neo 3M, Neo 2 and Neo 2 SE are not compatible with the Zwift Ride Smart Frame because they can interfere with the Ride Smart Frame’s chainstays.
You and me both… apparently I don’t. ![]()
tbh - This release was a bit of a challenge. There was 2 + 1 parties involved… plus me trying to make content about it. I try my best to provide accurate and complete information. Anyhow…
Hi - I also have the Tacx Neo 2T and just purchased the Zwift Frame. None of the risers provided are tall enough. Can a taller riser be sent to me?
There is no taller riser available AFAIK. This is being discussed over here…
Here is my solution for the TACX NEO 2T with motion plates:
Looks like you have the same setup as me. Is your virtual shifting working? Mine is saying not compatible. Did you have to buy the cog and click?
I answered your another posting - you need firmware updates for both the trainer (Garmin Tacx Training App) and Zwift Ride (Zwift Companion App).
You have to update your TACX NEO 2T to firmware V2.6.0 to enable virtual shifting. Open the TACX Training app, connect your NEO 2T and update the firmware. After updating the firmware, connect the trainer to your PC (if you use a PC) over Bluetooth and then on Zwift settings/hardware you will see the option to enable virtual shifting.
Same issue for me.
Installed Zwift Ride on Tacx Neo 2T yesterday but, despite using the tallest riser, the bike frame is still in touch with the smart trainer.
Any solution?
Mine is very close too, but not really touching: I am able to push a slice of paper between the trainer and the Zwift Ride frame.
