Zwift ride drop buttons bug since 1.90

Hello,

Since 1.90 (with new drop buttons settings) I’ve a weird bug with my zwift ride handlebar.

When I start Zwift, neither drop button works (but all the other buttons works correctly, so the controller is actually working).

To make them work, I have to go to the drop button settings, change the parameter, and save (so, I have to leave the parameter menu and go back to my ride). Once I do that, the buttons work, but I have to go back to the drop button settings and change the parameter back to my original setting.

This is really frustrating, and I didn’t experience this bug before the release of the new drop button settings.

Is it a know issue ?

I already check in zwift companion if a firmware update was available for my handlebar but no, it’s up to date (1.2.0).

I also tried a hard reset (press 30 seconds the Z button of both controller).

I even tried a complete zwift reinstallation.

Nothing worked, the bug is still there.

Is it possible to fix it, or tell me how to fix it, because it’s very frustrating ?

Thanks

Hi @Damien_Gotfroi_BIKES, welcome to the Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.

I can see you already opened a ticket about this drop-button bug, and it looks like you were assisted by one of our colleagues earlier today. If you’re still seeing the same issue, please re-open your existing ticket so our team can pick up where we left off and dig deeper into it.

Ride On.

Did you get a solution from Support? Please share if you did.

I found by myself. I did a complete reinstallation but this time I’ve followed the procedure and delete the program files/zwift folder and MyDocuments/Zwift folder.

After the reinstallation, I had to set back all my parameters but the bug has disapeard.

How do I fix this if all I use for Zwift is an iPad?

If you mean re-installing, on a mobile device you just remove the app and add it back.
