Hi everyone - does anyone know of any options/work arounds to change the crank length on the Zwift ride?? Can you purchase shirt crank? Me and my husband are both vertically challenged and are struggling a bit with the standard length that comes with the Ride?? Any advice would be appreciated! Thank you!
There are no shorter options currently. It’s a proprietary design so as far as I know, no third party crank will fit that spindle.
I believe they are a square taper crank set on the Ride - Ive not got a zwift ride so cant confirm exactly.
They are not exactly a modern type of crank but there are still options to buy out there - But I have no idea if it is possible to either change the crank or what it does to your warranty etc
A typical square taper crank will not fit on that spindle. Shane Miller checked dimensions in this video:
Hi @Kayleigh_Ord, Jose here from Zwift.
I understand how important it is for you to adjust the crank length on your Zwift Ride. However, I must inform you that the crank on the Zwift Ride Smart Frame cannot be adjusted or replaced. For more information, please check the Zwift Ride FAQ.
There’s already a post for this: (forum link)

I suspect a lot of people would be more than happy to pay for a shorter crank additionally, if Zwift could supply them! @Jose_R89 would it be possible to put that suggestion on the product roadmap? Would gain traction quite quickly!!
One intrepid owner replaced the cranks and posted about it on the Zwift Ride Owners Group.
I know the people responsible for the product are aware of interest in crank length options.
Are there any internal discussions to change that? Seems like this is the main issue limiting sales.
