Zwift Ready compatibility for Tacx Neo 2T Neo 2 Neo 2 SE and Neo 3M [June 2025]

You can buy on US Zwift site. Use a forwarding company like myus dot com. I bought the variable length crank for the Ride, a spare seapost so we each have our prefered saddle and the mkII game controllers. It is not hard.

If you wanted it badly enough you would already have worked this out, rather than just moaning about it.

Glad to hear how everything worked out for you utilising a third-party postage system to negate Zwift lack of availability of equipment outside selected countries.

Ohh, thanks for the (snarky) last comment /s. You have a wonderful day :expressionless_face:

Would the virtual shifting needed from this upgrade require more bluetooth channels? Running through the Apple tv and I think I am maxed out. Would love to use the zwift ride with my Neo 2T, sadly removing the motion plates though. But with the Apple TV, would I need to pair the shifters into my phone?

You could pair the Ride and the trainer but nothing else due to the Apple TV limitation on Bluetooth connections, so if you use a HRM that would push you to use the Companion app

No need to remove the motion plates. I have the Zwift Ride paired with a NEO 2T on motion plates. You just need to build a front skateboard like I did and enjoy:

Apparently Garmin updated the firmware for the Neo’s to 2.7.0 a couple of days ago with cadence and connectivity fixes. This however didn’t fix the constant disconnecting when connecting to Zwift.

I used Tacx Neo for 4 years, now Neo 2 for 1 year.

Windows 10 PC, Bluetooth dongle (directly under the trainer), 2 m USB connection cable to PC.

NEVER disconnected from Zwift.

Did you try to drop your log files in Zwiftalizer?

Also never had any issues. Also with this exact computer and trainer. Only after the Cog update and possibly a Zwift between June and september (the last time it worked and the first problems) I’ve had these constant disconnects.

As soon as I connect through Ant+ it’s fine, but then virtual Shifting doesn’t work since that requires Bluetooth. You can see that in Zwiftalizer which just notes that there are regular bluetooth reconnects.

I’ve got an external Bluetooth module on the way, let’s see if that works for my case as well.

My impression is that these issues only started becoming very common after adopting virtual shifting. A dongle often helps, preferably Realtek RTL8761B chipset like the TP-Link UB500

TP link UB500 works very good indeed. No extension cable necessary , just turned off the original bluetooth module and installed the UB500.

Apparently the Mediatek module in my laptop (<6 months old) doesn’t play nicely with the latest updates.

Ciao

Ho montato ieri la Zwift Ride sul Tacx Neo 2T ma, nonstante il rialzo anteriore, il lato sinistro del telaio è a contatto con quello dei rulli. Per te è la stessa cosa oppure hai risolto in qualche modo?

Grazie
