After the latest update my zwift play will no longer steer. The left arrow button now zooms in the mini map, the right arrow button does nothing. All other buttons are working but not the two required to steer!
The arrow buttons on the Zwift Play do not control the steering. The long ‘buttons’ that would be on the front of your handlebars (behind the brake levers) control the steering (and braking).
Ah - that explanation it- thanks Nigel_Tufnel

After the last update, Zwift play goes complete dead after riding some thirty minutes or longer.
Steering using the long buttons does not work anymore, but also all other buttons do not
function anymore.
Does anybody have the same experience?
Similar - I just seem to have the left steering/braking rocker button fail after ~30 minutes, and it pulls me all the way to the left. The rest seems to continue to work
This exact thing keeps happening to me. About 30 minutes into each ride the left steering/brake no longer works and my rider is automatically dragged to the left side. I tried only riding with the right pad and the same issue happened (I got dragged left after about 30 minutes).
Were you able to resolve this issue? I plan to request a new unit from Zwift or return the equipment altogether because this is ruining the later portion of my rides. It’s disappointing as I’ve really been enjoying using the controllers and navigational buttons.
Upgraded to the latest Play controller firmware (1.1.1) and game version, and it’s been fine since. They did have me do a calibration too when I contacted support
Thanks for this info! Glad to hear the issue’s resolved, hopefully I’ll have the same success. Will be contacting Zwift support to discuss
