Zwift Play firmware version 2.0.1 (May 19 2026)

Firmware version 2.0.1 for Zwift Play controllers introduces a significant change.

  • A linking feature combines left and right controllers to reduce the number of Bluetooth connections required. The Pairing Screen will show one combined Play icon.
  • Once paired, the battery icon shows the lower charge level of the two controllers.
  • Pair with a single Bluetooth connection.
    • Minimize the number of Bluetooth connections required for AppleTV.
    • Streamline your setup by using the Bluetooth bridge feature on the Wahoo KICKR Core v2 or JetBlack Victory. By pairing your peripherals directly to the trainer, you reduce the number of active signals. Note: You must first update your trainer’s firmware using the Wahoo or JetBlack app.
