Zwift Play Controller sending incessant upshift signal

Today, I did a ramp test then cruised for an hour, then joined a Zwift Race (link zwiftpower DOT com/events.php?zid=4459427). After 23 minutes and lots of sweat, the right Play Controller started sending incessant upshifts to the laptop running zwift. Even if I turned the play controller off, it would come back on and resend the up-shift signal (I saw “up shift” and mean harder, smaller cogs). It was especially sweaty in the pain cave and I just wanted to pass this feedback on to the Zwift engineers if they wanted some feedback. I put the play controller in the breeze of a fan to dry out. I have not restarted it to see if it’ll do it again once it dries out. Is this the right place to give this feedback? Have others had this problem? Is this from sweat ingressing into the Play Controller?

Thank you.

Hi @Matthew_Certain2535 I’m Norman and thank you for sharing the Zwift Play feedback, the controllers are sweat-resistant but if there was a great amount of liquid then it’s not out of discussion that it could’ve generated some issues.

After checking your in-game generated logs, I’d like you to try and complete a calibration after the Zwift Play finishes drying, you can check the steps in this article.

Keep us posted and let us know if that improves the experience.
