Zwift Hub Wattage Issue... but ZC app ok?

On Monday 2/17, early in a ride, my Zwift Hub began behaving erratically, with unrealistic and wildly changing resistance in and out of erg mode. After trying to force it to auto-calibrate and unplugging it and restarting, it seems to have settled down but the power is pretty far off from my spindle based power meter, and in a non-linear way - lower the watts, the further off:
259 - off by 13 watts
215 - off by 17 watts
175 - off by 20 watts
Same results on two OS laptops, running the most up to date software, firmware is updated, and I’ve allowed it to auto-calibrate. All to no avail.

HOWEVER, when I pair through my phone, I’ve got no issues. Its linearly within two or three watts of my on bike PM.

Any ideas what’s going on here?

Correction: connecting through the Zwift companion app does NOT solve the problem. It has an identical power reading difference. Sent a support ticket yesterday. I’ll update this thread if/when I hear back.

Update: I got this from Zwift support and it solved the problem: …if you haven’t already, can you try resetting your game preferences? Forgetting preferences and known devices will refresh the relationship between Zwift and the devices that can pair to Zwift. For steps on completing the preference reset, check out this other article. (can’t post links here I guess but search for “resetting your game preferences”)
