Zwift Game Update: July 2, 2019

Totally agree with Nick. Have the same thing, new PR after not riding 30 days but you dont know your best effort…

Thanks. I agree about the permanent PR. M/Y/LT PR would be great. On my Garmin watch I have a PR from 2009 that I might never beat. And funnily enough it exposes a display bug (shows 9 instead of 09) and I don’t think they’re interested in fixing that, so it just niggles at me every time I look at it.

Hi

Two things I would like to see added / fixed.

  1. There are a number of races where the final distance count down goes to 300m then back up to 500 meters then back again from there to 0. This makes judging when to sprint very difficult as putting in that last burst of speed from 300m is very different from doing it from 500m.

This seems to happen on the same races all the time. The example I can provide from yesterday is 3R Richmond Flat Race which started at 8.05pm Sydney Australia time. I am sure if you get the developers to look at the logs for the last 2 minutes you will see my distance going from 300m to go back up to 500m to go and then back down to 0 again. This I am sure is happening to all the other riders as well. Very unlikely to be a client side issue as occurs all the time on the same races. Other races the distance all works fine all the time.

If we can get this fixed that would be great.

  1. Second is a recommendation. This may already be possible and I just don’t know but I would like to be able filter in activities on exactly the same race. I have just completed or historically completed. At the end of a race I like to see how my times compare for exactly the same race I have done previously. There might just be one or many instances of exactly the same race. To see how my times have changed – hopefully improved. At the moment I have to scroll through all the races which as a keen Zwifter take quite some time to find them. This would be a great enhancement.

Thanks

Matthew

Hi Jon, how about a display for av/normalized power, av heartrate? Also, a workout option that is based on heartrate with power adjusted to keep you in the set heartrate zone?
Keep up the good work, ride on!
Regards, Mark

Hai, im zwift supporter from malaysia
why dont you make add Mi Band 4 for running devices ?

How do I log off the app after I finish?

Ye don’t listen. Ye suck

Well done! Thanks for the update! Will check the volcano awards when I’m back home!

Hi.

Have you sorted power meter pairing for Android users yet. Can’t pair my Quark Dzero or my Hammer using Samsung S8 or Galaxy Tab.

Cheers Jon

Hi guys,

Thank you for the mail and the update. My eyesight is not very good and so I have difficulty reading some of the smaller print on the screen (particularly on the right side of the screen in the column) even though I have a large screen in front of me. I was wondering if you could introduce an option whereby the FTP shown on the screen in large print could have the option of being changed to watts per kilogram. This would provide me and I’m sure others (even those with good eyesight) the opportunity to do a session using FTP, Cadence and heart rate options for variety of training disciplines.

Thanks very much,

Ride On,

Les

Volcano loop counter showing 0 ?

I’ve updated Companion ap and no Zwift update available

Disappointed !

Hi

I’m using the companion app on a samsung s10e phone and the game on a samsung s4 tab, connected to a kickr 4 the system works perfectly without fault, well done.

If I choose to ride a route, without an accompanying training session activated I find myself pedaling at very low wattage and subsequent speed, how do I increase the wattage in order to go faster?

Cheers

Dear Zwift Team

There’s something I (and most likely so many other Zwifters) are missing desperately, this is to ride real videos.

Unfortunately I (we) always have to use other (paid) platforms for real life rides, which gives a much bigger riding variety and feeling to riding at home.

Do you plan to also offer real live rides inside Zwift as an additional option?

Best regards

Dr Markus Faas

Good afternoon,

I’m running Zwift on an Apple Powerbook (OSX) and a Wattbike Atom… After the update this morning, the gear indications which are normally displayed under the top left hand box (that shows power, cadence, etc) did not show when I changed gears. The gears did change OK, but it’s really difficult to ride a race not knowing which gear you are in, as I tend to know what gear to go into depending on the upcoming slope and now I’m “flying blind”!

Please, please can you re-instate this

kind regards,

Mark

Hey there,

Small question/request… I was wondering why the stat section of the screen is now no longer shown when you are in the pen waiting for an event to start? The problem I have with it not being there is that on a couple of occasions my HRM has
lost connection during the pen phase, possibly due to me going off to grab a drinks bottle or something similar. When I get back I’m obviously oblivious to this and only realise once the race/event starts by which point it is too late! With some races requiring
HR data this effectively DQs me from the race before I’ve even started! Would be great if it could be re-incorporated so participants can rectify any connection issues before an event starts.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on this.

Thanks

Best regards

Seb

Love your product.

When will I be able to calibrate my Cycleops H2 within Zwift?

Curious where that fix is in the groomed backlog. :slightly_smiling_face:

Cheers,

Ben

Does that mean we will automatically receive our achievements we earned so we don’t have to repeat that workout?

Hi Jon

When riding my Wattbike atom it is great that it shows what gear I am in on Zwift but there is a glitch. No matter what gear I am in it flicks between gear 4 and the actual gear I am in, it has no effect on the gearing just slightly annoying. Hope you can fix it :+1:

Hi Jon

Meant to say I’m using an iPad gen 6 if this has anything to do with it

Dear Zwift,

The latest update email mentions that the team is looking on how to decrease the memory requirements so that older iOS devices can still use the software in the future.

An old aluminum bike, a basic trainer, and an ancient iPad have allowed me to get exercise through a Canadian winter, thanks to Zwift.

Kudos to Zwift for remembering that all members are not rich technophiles.

Many thanks!

B.
