Zwift Fondo Workout

I’m returning to cycling and want to get in shape for a metric Fondo late this spring. I thought I would start with the Fondo workout on Zwift. I’ve noticed that there are no targets for cadence. Previously, I’ve always tried to be in the 85 to 90 RPMs range. This workout varies quite a bit by power, and during some of the rest times there is no way to hit the lower power numbers without slowing the cadence. When it gets into higher percentages of FTP, then I can shift and stay right around 90 RPMs to hit the power levels required. Any feedback on my thinking?

Be flexible with your cadence. Your physiology isn’t going to care too much if your cadence drops a bit during the recovery intervals.
