Zwift del all my D riders for this coming week

So now i am C for now, zwift del all the D race i had some up for this week i when head sign up to like 7 or 10 race for the week, now there all gone :frowning: @James_Zwift is that new @Steve_Cl @Paul_Southworth

i think it just move into the C group and not Del it from my list.

I’ve not had signups deleted.

But on Monday 23rd, I went to join pen E for Zmonthly at 1710 GMT booked weeks ago when I was under 180, but orange join pen box from main menu was replaced with “change category” with my Racing Score being 187.

Also got a signup to E at 1710 GMT today, my last one booked weeks ago, expecting to need to switch to pen D to be allowed to join race pens.

I’m expecting some racers to cross pen limit scores during tomorrow’s Tiny Races and suddenly having to race up a pen, part way through the quartet, but we shall see!

All change on Monday 30th December, new Racing Score ranges start for at least the Zmonthly January races, I can join pen E for the “range 2” races and pen D for the “range 1” races that alternate every hour.

It’ll be interesting to see how the system handles this with the score updates seemingly all having the same starting point until they get reprocessed 12 hours later.
Anyone near the top of a pen who gets a top half result in any race could find themselves forced up for the next one, even if they’d had a bad result in a prior race.

Yeah, it would need a single Tiny Race event score breach during the quartet to be excluded for subsequent events, because as you say the cumilative score adjustments from the quartet won’t happen until approx 12 hours later.

I can see there being a number of unhappy shoppers tomorrow!

If you’re starting the quartet within approx 10 of the 260 pen E boundary at least, you could easily be excluded from E for the rest of the quartet with a podium finish in races 1-3…

If pen checks have been introduced quietly to all races since 23rd December ish.

Slightly off at a tangent, but I noticed Manon Holtman was on course to win the pen E Zmonthly December, but she breached the 180 limit in this week’s race (to 183) and is now classified in pen D in the league table on zwiftpower.

As soon as you went up to C, unless you are in a TTT, you become disqualified for D cat races. This is to protect D racers and to prevent accusations of “sandbagging”, or racing lightly to stay in a lower category. With the upcoming switch to ZRS for all races, you are going to see improvement. I’m hoping Zwift is only going to make slight changes to ZRS as the last change was major.

I think the point was that the default behaviour should be to keep him registered for the same race, only bump him up to the next pen - as opposed to deregistering him completely.

yes that would be the best thing to do. @David_Galbraith

I’ve still yet to see this de-registering myself.

As I’ve written before, with my Racing Score v2 being under 180, I signed up to a few races up to last Sunday in the 0-180 pen E. But since v3, I’ve been in the 185-235 ballpark.

Since Monday 23rd December, each of those pen E signups wouldn’t let me join the pen, instead the main menu box that appeared on the extreme right said “change category” in blue down the bottom.

Or at least allow a change of pen to the proper one, time and space permitting. Some pens leave earlier than the lower class pens and done races have limits on the number of riders in each pen.
