New issue with the new version: In the club events listings the app no longer shows the numbers of friends that have signed up for the event.

An update on the reports of crashes after updating to Zwift Companion version 3.68 on Android version 9

We are going to roll back to the previous stable version of Zwift Companion on Android. The new version will be identified as version 3.68.1, but it will be functionally identical to version 3.67.0.

We submitted this rollback version to Google Play and it is currently pending Google’s review and approval. Unfortunately we are not able to say precisely when Google will approve this version, but based on historical releases, we are anticipating it will be available within the next 24-48 hours.

No, the drop-down for the sort

I’m not sure what to tell you. When I go to Sort
It says - All routes A-Z, with the little half arrow on the right side. When the little arrow is pointed up. No options. Then if I tap it, the arrow points down, and the options appear. I’m using a Samsung S23 ultra

Under ā€œAll workoutsā€ not ā€œAll routesā€ … but from above, it looks like they are going to roll back the version of the companion app, so I guess it’s ā€œmootā€ for now

Sorry. I guess that I was mixed up. I definitely don’t have a search for workouts

v3.68.0 on Android is crashing and restarting whenever I click on a user profile picture. I am running on a Pixel 8 with the latest version of Android 15.

Check up a few posts before yours.

An update on the reports of crashes after updating to Zwift Companion version 3.68 on Android version 9

We have released Zwift Companion 3.68.1 (2028) on Android. This version is functionally identical to version 3.67.0 and resolves the crashes affecting Android version 9 while we work on a permanent fix.

Well this is interesting. While the new 3.68.1 does mean clicking on a profile pic works again now, it doesn’t reintroduce the 3.67 issue of the Ride On button not working (reversed functionality) in the list of those Zwifting Now.

This definitely isn’t a complaint, I’m just a bit puzzled why the Ride Ons work if this is the 3.67 code. Maybe there was a server-side fix for that issue, so we still have the fix even though the Companion update has been rolled back?

EDIT - I take it back, see my later reply at Zwift Companion v3.68 [March 2025] - #59 by Steve_Hammatt

Based on Shuji’s response to my report a few days ago I’m assuming it was a server-side issue.

I’m not talking about the too-zoomed-out issue though, I’m referring to this one - Buttons to Rideon individual friends are missing [March 2025] [3.67]

Thursday last week my old android 9 phone (only using it on the bike for companion app) worked perfectly, sunday, it would not even start the companion app, crashes upon startup, tried rebooting the phone several times, clearing cashe several times and reinstaling the app several times - no luck, still wil not start the app - what a bummer!

The solution to your problem is just four posts up from your own reply.

I take it back. Trying it again, the behaviour has reverted (i.e. the bug has come back). Not sure why it seemed to work properly once with 3.68.1, but perhaps that’s all part of the original bug, i.e. it works once but then goes wrong?

Android 9 users please update to version 3.68.2 at your earliest convenience.
