“Fixed bug where you couldn’t activate a Ride On bomb when you were too zoomed out on the paired screen’s map view.” Hurray! Such a common issue people deal with…
Does this fix the “Zwifting Now” people you follow screen to give ride-ons individually? Right now the buttons are inverted and don’t work to give them to each person you follow. You either have to click on each individual and then give a ride-on from their personal page or you can punch the bulk button the Companion App front page. I don’t like doing that because it gives a ride-on to everyone including those not started their ride so they don’t get the benefit of the ride-on. Yeah, I know, I’m weird…
is there anything being done about the default behaviour of it going directly to the game/pairing screen when connected to the trainer? I just want to send some ride ons and rather not have to press back to get to the main screen (which should be the default screen regardless of if you are connected to the trainer) wait for it to reload and then give a ride on
Good news! I look forward to getting the update which is its own little adventure for some reason. Did you get updated through the Google Play Store? Or just restart your phone?
I did a manual check for updates via the Play Store. It didn’t appear yesterday, but it’s a phased rollout and when I checked soon after 1700 GMT (so at the start of a new day as far as Zwift rollouts go, since it was the start of a new business day in the West Coast US), it appeared.
Yep, that did it. I checked manually a coupla hours ago and there was nothing but just now it showed an update and did so. The update was really an update and it works the way it’s supposed to. Thank you.
I didn’t see it noted in the other thread; but has anyone noticed that when looking at an event listing, the signed up riders nowhere near match the number of signups it shows?
ie: event [category] shows 100 people signed up; listing only shows 10 people.
I’m not sure when the error begins, but just checking a BMTR ride it shows 39, but the listing only actually shows 19. An SCZL ride has 30 but only shows 20.
Not sure if it’s what you’re seeing, but I don’t think I’ve ever seen an event that didn’t have that issue, in years of looking. I generally pull up the event listing and refresh it by pulling down from the top of the screen, or tap on the category and it usually shows an updated list of signups.
This seems to be a new issue for me, as of the last update or perhaps two now.
I get refreshing, but that’s not the case in this instance, even for events in the future with signups that aren’t really altering and after restarting the app it just shows X number of signups, but Y profiles.
Perhaps private profiles no longer show as signed up in the listing now …? That’s all I can imagine.
Companion app is crashing when trying to view the profile picture of any rider, including my own, in all events I’ve tried. It mostly dumps back to the home screen, but once I got an app crash notice. Galaxy S24 Ultra.
