Just write you a PM
@Roberto_Viola Hi Robert, thinking of buying the Cog but i have an Tacx Flux 2. Is it possible go get it working? Can you send me a pm?
Sent! Let’s continue there!
Hi! Can i alsi get the information?
Roberto, I just bought a Tacx Flux 2 and the Zwift Cog will not fit. I called zwift and they sent me a return label saying not compatible. I really wanted the cog to work with my trainer because I don’t want to bother with derailleurs. Are you able to advise how to make the Cog fit on my trainer?
The Cog will fit on your trainer. If you bought the Cog mounted on the multi-trainer freehub, you need to remove it from that freehub and install it on the one that’s already on the trainer. If you bought the Cog without a freehub, it comes mounted on a plastic sleeve that needs to be discarded.
Paul,
I purchased the Zwift Click + Zwift Cog 1.1 w/ Multi-Trainer FreeHub Upgrade Pack. Based on what you are saying I can remove the freehub and install with the shimano freehub? Correct.
Yes the multi-trainer freehub is a Shimano compatible freehub. The cog is a Shimano compatible cassette that will fit on any freehub compatible with 11 speed Shimano Hyperglide.
Did you get it a get it set up?
Im at a complete loss about to throw everything out a window.
Running flux s with android
Hello Roberto, cloud you please send the information (Flux S + Ride Frame) also to me.
Thanks a lot!
Which cog is best for the Tacx Flux the multihub or the Tacx specific one?
The multi-trainer freehub will not fit any Tacx trainer, though if you bought one you could remove the Cog from it using a lockring tool and a chain whip.
can you send my the information about the flux s and ride frame
Hey @Wheelie_Pronghorn
Did you manage to have the zwift cog working with your Tacx Flux 2 in the end ?
If yes can you explain me what you did to have it working ?
Thanks !
The Tacx Flux doesn’t support virtual shifting.
Unfortunately it doesn’t work with tacx, I’m using a normal cassette.
