Good morning, I’ve had the Decathlon d100 smart trainer for about 10 days. It comes with Zwift Cog and Zwift Click V2.
Everything worked fine for the first week, but now when I launch the app, turn on the Zwift Clicks (the LEDs flash), they’re recognized (I can also move between menus using them) so I choose the track to run, as soon as the race starts, they turn off and stop working.
I’ve tried on two PCs and an Android tablet, same problem.
Any suggestions? Is it better to return them to Decathlon?
Mine is a little better than yours, but still disconnects multiple times per ride. Usually at the bottom of a steep climb while I’m using a high gear! I’ve found pressing both buttons in a blind panic tends to force a reconnection but it’s not fast. Very annoying and would also like a solution. I’m hoping a software update on the app might sort it
These issues may be related to the Bluetooth performance of the devices being used, but there are no details about the Bluetooth adapters being used or which Android device the OP is using, so it’s hard to say much about it.
It’s a Dell Inspiron 14 7490 and a Redmi Pad 2
OK I have no experience with the Redmi Pad 2 so I’m not sure if it’s good or not. The Dell may be improved by disabling the built-in Bluetooth adapter in Windows Device Manager and using a USB dongle such as the TP-Link UB500 which a lot of people use successfully. It’s quite common that Windows laptops have poor Bluetooth performance that is noticed after switching to virtual shifting and it is often improved by using a known good dongle. Of course it’s also possible that there is something wrong with the Click shifter, but having a USB Bluetooth dongle for the Windows machine would help you understand if that is true. Thank you so much. I will try as soon as possible
