Wondering what is the best way to achieve how to do a workout (the intervals, timing, seeing it display on the left) but have the trainer in freeride mode so I can ride along with a course.
Right now I can toggle ERG mode on/off which makes sense. But when toggling it off it fixes the incline at a certain level which while convenient does not simulate what riding outdoors and trying to do workouts would be like. Essentially I want an option to use my workout as solely an interval timer/label with wattage.
I’m not sure if this will actually help, but there are references to workout files containing a parameter “flatroad” - if you can manually edit your raw workout file (the ease of which may depend on your platform) and find “flatroad=1” and change it to “flatroad=0” that might work.
