When doing workouts in Zwift it is possible to adjust the workout bias in 1% increments. For example, adjust the bias to 101%, meaning that the power target changes from, e.g., 150 to 151,5W.
However, Zwift ERG mode, and in fact the workout player altogether, only adjusts in 5W increments. So in the previous example, adjusting to 101% does infact not change anything. You have to adjust to 102% (to get 153W) to change to 155W.
But say I’m doing a low tempo interval at 200W but I’m feeling good and want to increase that to 220W, that means I have to click the “+” button at least 9 times. But say I want to keep doing the recovery intervals at the regular wattage, I again have to click 9 times on the “-” button. This is actually quite confusing and with sweaty hands inconvenient.

Change the bias adjuster to +/-5W increments to decrease the time we have to push buttons to get the expected and predictable results.
Maybe it could even be implemented in a way that keeps the original behavior. Just like you can tap the “ERG” button to switch between ERG and INCLINE modes, the use can tap the “Bias” button to switch between “%” and “5W” modes.
It is related l, yes. But not really similar. As I don’t really mind the +/-5W incremental precision of Zwift workout mode. I just think that if they apply that precision level of ERG-mode, they should not provide a precision level of +/-1% in the bias. Considering that doesn’t change anything unless your target power is 500W to begin with.
I think there should be a way to quickly get back to 100. So say you’ve increased to 115% you press once to get back to 100 or press and hold to get back.
