Why is it that for races and group rides we do multiple loops of the same course in the same direction? Wouldn’t it be more interesting and less predictable to do longer loops or reverse directions if it’s a 2 loop event…at least sometimes?
this is up to the race organizers to choose where they want their Race/group ride to take place. You should talk to the team that organize the race/ride and let them know to switch it up a bit.
