Would love 20 more levels. Super motivating to click off levels.
Zwift could attract so many runners (new subscribers) with just one course addition: Boston. They need to start charging runners of course. But everyone trains for Boston in the winter with many runs on the treadmill. Breaking the course down into segments, like Newton Hills, would be so beneficial. Folks would pay for that.
Market it on LetsRun.com, maybe sponsor one pro runner. Zwift would double their subscriber base.
There are a ton of us who are both runners and riders, so we ARE paying. We may not be paying specifically for the running part of it, but the running part of it is drawing people to the platform since it is multi-disciplinary. If it didn’t include the running portion, I am sure some would use other platforms for their riding if they had to take their running somewhere else already.
That’s exactly what I would like to do personally, but Zwift very rarely does what users want. Look in the forum Feature requests for the topics with a lot of votes…
(sorry - just saw this, hence late reply) - but this is not true anymore. I am solely a runner - and I am paying for zwift. I’ve had the wahoo kickr run treadmill since last November. The only way to get the ‘run free’ mode - which is the one of the 2 main game changer features - is to pay for zwift. But I gladly pay as it turns the dreadmill into something a lot more fun and realistic. I’m sure other TMs will follow suit, so hopefully Zwift does take runners more seriously going forwards. I’m close to level 30 now, so would love some new levels / routes / runner specific workouts added.
