How can we see the L’etape Stage 1 race result?
Just done L’Etape du Tour Stage 1 at 19.00. Got to say a bit underwhelmed. Jersey being used is still the 2019 one which I have already got and feel I have already expended the blood and sweat on last year. Seems to be a theme recently of regurgitating old stuff. The added graphics of arches, crowds and the building at the start are ok but it’s still the same old Mountain Route and Radio Climb which I could do in my sleep. Also, too many riders bobbing around giving a feeling of car sickness looking at the screen. Let’s hope there is better to come, i.e. the new roads and maybe a new jersey Zwift?!
@Rob_Somerville
Given the dynamic difficulties of the Epic KOM vs Radio Tower climbs, we sorta had to include them together, rather than invent 100% brand new routes in the short lead time we had.
Tomorrow, the pros ride this course as Stage 2 of the Virtual Tour de France. Will you tune in live to see what sort of watts they’re putting out ,and how fast they ride the same course you rode today?
Agree… Something not right here re the Jersey. Email says 2020 L’Etape jersey which it definitely isn’t. Think I got this in 2019 or 2018.
Wanted to update everyone about the mixup with the wrong L’Etape jerseys showing up in game. This is due to crossed wires in the event setup. We apologize for the confusion.
- The dark blue kit you saw is the Rapha / L’Etape 2019 kit, not the teal 2020 L’Etape kit.
- Those who ride the L’Etape events on Sunday July 5 will also see the wrong kit.
Zwift will retroactively award you the correct kit next week. Provided you completed the L’Etape event, there is nothing you need to do. More information on this support article.
At Zwiftpower.com look for “Leagues” then top-listed league is the L’Etape.
@shooj No worries at all; just comp us all the 2019 kit (in addition to the 2020 kit we’re getting next week) and the event Trek Madone, too. Perfect. What a great day. You’re the best. ![]()
Hi. Is there a way we can view who’s riding each stage?
@Diana_Steel8021 Click on the event. At the bottom of each category heading there is a head+shoulders silhouette with the number of participants in that category. Click that silhouette/number and you see the list of participants.
Good stuff! Thanks!
Can anyone tell me why when I tried to start 2 different Virtual Tour de Frances at the start I peddled but went nowhere, rebooted my Mac and joined 5kms in instead of at the start ?
I rode the L’Etape on Saturday and completed it but never received the kit. Where is it & how do I get it?
Hi @Janet_Owens, sometimes with events you need to log in again after completing the challenge to get the kit in your garage, have you tried that?
Hi @Chris_Powell2, welcome to the forums. This could be caused by any number of things. We will need a lot more info about your setup to even begin to help, such as what devices you use, trainer, how you connect, etc. This could be a power dropout caused by interference, or perhaps, if the group was really large at the start, maybe your graphics card/device couldn’t handle it and it just stopped working? You can use a 3rd party site called zwiftalizer.com to check for lots of types of errors. I would suggest starting there and see where that takes you. You need to put a log file from one of the rides that didn’t work into zwiftalizer, to find your log files follow this link to Zwift support. Locating Log Files
Yes, I’ve tried that for a couple of days now. It’s not in my garage and I would like to wear it since I worked so hard to earn the L’etape du Tour de France. Very disappointed in Zwift right now.

Hi Shuji. Can you please tell me when in August events like ours at VeloNews will be able to use the France maps? We have an Aug. 12 ride on the schedule, for instance. Thanks!
HI @Ben_Delaney2 good to see you join us on the forums!
As you can imagine, a lot of event leaders would like to schedule their rides in France, so we need to clear a path for that to happen. We hope to have a more definite date for all y’alls as soon we as can.
Understood. Thanks for the quick and clear communication. Cheers.
Thanks. I meant the pros. My mistake. Asked in wrong thread. Sorry.
