Untrue! There is a gap from 4:00 AM to 9:00 AM PDT. Any chance of adding either a 6:00 AM or a 7:00 AM ride, so that the events are available about every 2 hours?
@Jim_Mattson I think this gap is to accommodate the Virtual TDF races that are going on during this part of the day.

@shooj When I go to the Virtual TDF Discovery Pages literally every single ride is Category A and E, Women only. I see the same thing on Zwift Companion. How do I, as a male rider, sign up for a Discovery Ride?

Hi @Bruce_Sanchez welcome to Zwift forums!
If youāre used to thinking of the A, B, C, D categories delineating your power:weight class for Zwift racing, those distinctions donāt apply to these events. The Discovery rides are fun, social rides instead of races.
As a dude, you should sign up for the āEā events. Riders of all abilities will be in there with you, so just find a bunch whose pace you like, and make some friends!
My bad luck, since the gap perfectly overlaps my riding window for the day. Nonetheless, the events are not available every 2 hours on Saturday and Sunday.

I think this is absolutely brilliant. Iām not sure weekend 2 is easier than weekend 1, though: the radio tower climb is a beast, especially at the end of the epic KOM.
But thereās a lull in Zwift use during the northern hemisphere summer, and COVID restrictions are relaxed, so this will provide a nice impetus for new people to try Zwift. By having stages 1-2 in Watopia, they get introduced to some of Watopiaās cool features, albeit with a bit of Tour decor (the Tour often starts abroad), then to the new worlds for the rest. Iām really looking forward to the LāEtape stages, as well as watching live ( @ 6 am PDT! )

I did Stage 1 but the kit is different the teal one from the pictures, was it changed or is it an additional one to unlock?

Some of todayās earliest LāEtape events had the wrong kits assigned to them. Weāre sorting it out now

Can anyone who has ridden this morning tell me - can riders in the women only category (A) see/draft with riders in the general category (E) or is it like riding a simultaneous smaller self contained event?
So did the LāEtape today, received the email saying you have unlocked the 2020 LāEtape kit. The kit we ride the event in is not the 2020 kit or the one used in all the marketing it is the old LāEtape kit. Plus nothing unlocked in my locker. @Wes?

Navy blue jersey unlocked here, did the 12pm BST ride. Windows PC.
I did the 12:00pm Lāetape, took me a different route than most of the other cyclist bar one person and wouldnt let me Uturn, I continued on and completed the distance (but not the climb) each banner was recording times etc so seemed legitā¦but havenāt had any jersey unlock.
Usually when a rider is sent off on another route it means that the app needs to be updated. Not sure about your case in particular, but that is generally what that means.
