I have activated video on in the settings, but the game neither saves the 15 seconds of video automatically nor can I trigger it manually. The video button is grayed out and it says “Video screenshot currently not possible”. The picture screenshots work, manually and automatically.
I have a Windows 11 PC with an AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU and an AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX graphics card.
I have a similar issue. Running 1.83.2 (Build 140279). Trying to run on Windows 11 PC with Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, and the Video Screenshots option doesn’t show up in the Preferences section.
Intel i5, i7 and i9 are mentioned in compatibility tables I’ve seen, so does that mean it’s not available for Ultra 7? Even though it’s a more recent processor than i9…
Hi @Markus1 and @John_Healy, welcome to Forums! I’m Francisco from Zwift Support.
Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We recognize the importance of this issue and are actively investigating it. We encourage you to stay tuned in this thread for new releases.
To check the requirements, always check this article as it might update down the line.
For what it’s worth, i’m seeing the same on an Intel Core Ultra 5 235 processor, and it was just barely released, which means it should be new enough! lol
@Francisco_J any update on this? It’s been almost 3mo and no fix yet.
Mine is still not working Justin.
Surely Zwift team don’t need to re-write code to enable this for each individual processor?!
I created a support ticket, emailed James Bailey (james.bailey@zwift.com), and messaged @Eric_Schlange_ZwftIn about the problem.
Maybe one of those avenues might get the message to the right place… maybe.
I finally got this reply from my support ticket:
Hello Justin,
This is Rowdy at Zwift HQ with tier 3 technical support. Thank you so much for reaching out regarding this experience. I’ve shared this with our engineers to be improved as soon as possible in a future release of Zwift. From what I can tell, Intel Core Ultra processors are not currently getting access to video screenshots. However, I do agree that they exceed the performance requirements of their predecessors.
Thank you again for reaching out. Ride On.
Ride On.

So, sounds like this just gets thrown on the pile of things to maybe never get done? We shall see
Any further updates on this Justin? Just curious if it has received any traction of like you said, just sitting on the to do pile…
Thanks,
John
I have not received any further communication from Zwift on the matter, nor have I seen it mentioned in any of the release notes. And as of the publicly released game client I have installed today (1.90.0) video screenshots are still not an option on my machine running the Intel Core Ultra 5 235 even though all parties agree that this CPU is capable of handling them.
