Video core freezes while playing

Hello, I haven’t been able to solve the problem for a month now, last year I bought myself a laptop based on 8845HS 780M. The point is that at any random moment in the driving situation the game may freeze.

What I did, window mode and wrote to support and everything else What I did not do, window mode and wrote to support service and everything else, turned off various functions to reinstall the driver, nothing helps. T When this happens, this window pops out. AMD software detected that the driver response time was exceeded. A problem report has been created that can be submitted to AMD. There is a sound of the game, but everything is frozen.

Please help me very much.

Is there a Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling option in the settings for your 780M? That was a workaround for the Ryzen AI Max+ 39x systems. It’s a different integrated GPU so possibly irrelevant but if you see that setting I would try disabling it.

Otherwise I think you probably need to contact support.

I don’t have this, I noticed that when I stand, freezes occur more often, as if the video core was freezing?

That does not make any sense to me. I can’t think of a reason why standing on the trainer would affect game stability. Ask support to look at your logs.

Unfortunately, I cannot find a pattern, I can only say one thing, perhaps, but this is not a fact, there is one nuance that I have only guessed about now. There is an application AMD adrenaline. In this application, games are automatically found when you launch them, I think hmm.. the game was not found, I will add the zwift myself. And now I deleted it and tested it, I’ll tell you the result later. Although all settings for the game were disabled, as the support said, it may still affect something.

I have no idea if it could help but the other thing you can control is the amount of RAM set aside for the GPU. On some systems this is managed in Adrenaline, and on others it’s done in the system BIOS.

Thanks for the help, but I have done it a long time ago, I gave the maximum amount of memory to the video card, through the AMD application.

I had that too, turned out to be a defective mini-pc. Did a warranty exchange and no more crashes

But in others But there are no problems with other games.

Some ran without issues others crashed sometimes even after hours.

I wonder if system BIOS updates might be available for it. Is that up to date? That could also affect integrated graphics.

I did this too, Bios has been updated to the latest version.

I don’t know what to do; I reinstalled Windows and installed the “old” driver (version 31 from 2024) that came with the laptop. However, while in spectator mode, the game ran for over three hours before freezing; I had been watching other players and stepped out for a walk, and when I returned, the game froze right before my eyes.
I’ve tried everything possible—enabling and disabling MPO, setting the TDR delay to 8 seconds—but the game’s stability is inconsistent; sometimes it runs for three hours, other times for only ten minutes.
I allocated the maximum memory the laptop allows—4 GB of VRAM taken from the system RAM. Sometimes, while playing, I notice the image stuttering or glitching for a split second. Video memory usage is constantly at 100%, even though the GPU itself is only at 70–80% load; I even tried switching to 720p, but the memory usage remained at 100%.

Take it from me your laptop is defective. I have wasted dozens of hours tweaking hidden settings in windows, zwift, bios, driver versions etc. Nothing worked and 0 crashes after my replacement (I swapped memory and hd over, didn’t even reinstall windows)
