When I connect to paired devices, “resistance” nor “controllable” don’t automatically connect and cannot be found when I click search. These are two new device options that I’ve not seen in the past. Have used just power, cadence and HRM.
Thats why ERG isnt working, you need to pair the resistance to your trainer. It might take a minute to find the trainer. Just leave it up for a few minutes and see what happens. Looks like you are using a power meter too for power and cadence. You need to get the Kickr to pair for resistance. You can keep the power meter as your power source if you want.
Shut off Zwift. Open the Wahoo Fitness app, do a firmware update, calibrate using the Wahoo app if applicable (not relevant on v5/v6/MOVE trainers). Then do an ERG mode workout using the Wahoo app. What happens when you do that?
It is like this for me for a long time (PC, Windows) - if I want to use my powermeter for power and cadence, I must unpair both, pair the trainer for power, search for resistance, some seconds later it is here, pair. Then unpair power again and select powermeter.
@shooj - is this a known problem?
It changed a few updates ago…quite a few. I used to be able to pair power with my PT pedals and straight to Controllable with my trainer. About 9-12 months ago it changed to having to start with the trainer and then going back to the power meter (now a Quarq). At least for BT. I do not think it applies to Ant+ but have not tried in awhile.
